L'Arquebuse de l'Hermitage is based on a recipe that has been kept secret since 1857. It is made by macerating and distilling 33 plants (chamomile, wormwood, lime, marjoram, etc.).

It is an unsweetened white spirit with a unique flavour that comes from the variety of plants used.

Nose:

• initial: herbal

• middle: freshness

• finish: vegetal

Taste:

• Attack: spicy

• Mid-palate: plant-based

• Finish: aniseed

Serving

It is drunk cold with ice or in a cocktail, with lemon juice and/or lemonade or simply with pineapple juice.
