Stunningly smooth premium malt whisky with mellow flavour that comes from final maturation in Shetland the wildest place in Britain.

Individual casks of Single Speyside malts from mainland Scotland have been selected and then shipped to the most northerly place in Britain, Unst, on the Shetland Islands.
The malt whisky is then over wintered and the wet, cool and windy conditions of Northern Shetland accelerate maturation over the winter months.

Origin of the name:
At the northern tip of Unst is the famous Muckle Flugga lighthouse built by Robert Louis Stevenson’s father.
All bottles are individually numbered and traced back to the original cask.

Current stock bottled from Cask N° 15002051 & 15002052.

Aroma and Taste:
Exceptionally smooth, honeyed with hint of fruit sherry finish.
Rich, deep amber hue. Non chill filtered, no caramel or artificial colourings.
ABV 40%
