Monteabellón 5 Meses comes from the coolest vineyards near the Duero river. The soil consists of sandy loam, with a slight gravel content. This gives the wine a very distinctive freshness that, together with time in barrel, creates a wine with great personality and pronounced fruity nuances.
Grape: 100% Tempranillo.
Soil: Central zone / Altitude approx. 800-830m / Loam and clay soils.
Maturation: At least 5 months in oak barrels. 50% French oak and 50% American oak.
